This family business is amazing. We had a dining room table and chairs refinished from a dark cherry to a more natural colour. Fred suggested a design line to border the table, which really made it. We ended up putting a fairly hot dish onto a placemat on the table that left a white foggy mark on it. A Family Tradition of Craftsmanship

H Steinpatz & Son has been restoring, refinishing, and preserving fine furniture for over 70 years. The business was founded by Hans Steinpatz in 1955, and has been passed down through three generations of the Steinpatz family. Hans's son Fred carried on the craft, and Fred's sons Randy and Rene now work alongside him in the same Kingston Ontario workshop. Each generation has carried forward the same dedication to quality and care that has defined our reputation for decades. We treat every piece of furniture as if it were our own.
